Is Yahoo Answers helping its SEO much by letting users connect their facebook and twitter accounts to it?

I remember reading the blog about this right before they launched this new feature. They also allow you to log in with your Facebook account now. The idea was to draw a larger audience into Yahoo Answers. Yahoo's biggest competitors are Google so it only seems smart for them to do something to get more hits on their servers.
