Abscess... MRSA? Please help...?

if the abscess continues to drain, it should get smaller and become less and less painful as each day pes, and the antibiotics will clear it up..The risk is cellulitis (infection of the inner tissue) if that happens it would get more swollen and the pain would worsen..also it would feel feverish. You would then have to go to outpatient surgery and have it lanced or cut open and packed with gauze and given stronger antibiotics..It sounds like you are getting better .. mrsa take longer to heal ..just take your full dose of medicine and keep the abscess dry and clean
