Father denying paternity?
My ex-partner and i had a relationship for two years, during this we have one beautiful daughter and another baby on the way, we split up in july and now he is denying paternity, he has not been very good with visitation arrangements since we split even though the end was amicable it was not without its anger and petty issues, ( may i add that everytime we do talk, he is so angry and picks fights with issues from the past, i know he hurts as i hurt too) everytime i try and attempt some resolve with visitation and even said when he can just text me (as he refuses to speak to me via phone) he does not bother or turn up or cancels 20 mins before we are due to meet, now he is denying paternity, his name is on the birth certificate and has raised her since she was born ( he was at birth) we were together for 2 years yet now that we split, it appears he has abandoned her as he is not with me. It makes me sick that he could stoop so low. Do men not realise that being a father is not just financial but time spent loving and nurturing? and there are two many children who are abandoned who require unconditional love, i am not without my faults and strive to work on them, but how do i approach this man without the drama and resolve our issues so we can just get on with parenting? and if he is serious ( he is spiteful) how do i get a dna test to stand up in court as i feel i have been left with no choice but to pursue him legally to which i really wish it could be resolved peacefully? please help he is 29 i am 33
