The media ignored almost half of the speech of General Sanchez. Why did they only report the part?

The media condemns (rightly so) doctors who misuse their power, government officials who misuse their power, and teachers who misuse their power. Yet they are very powerful in their persuasion of the people in America and around the world, and are allowed to continue to abuse their power. They never have to answer to anyone about their misdeeds. There has to be a special place in hell for them.
