Should I consolidate my Student Loans with the government?

You are only able to consolidate your student loans once, so I would only consolidate if you're sure you're not going back for an additional degree. That being said, it is a good idea to consolidate your loans because then you can just make one payment to one lender at one specific rate. You should end up paying about the same depending on the interest rate you are at now and the interest rate for the consolidated loan
