Why do ppl joke bout being emo and ppl who r emo?

its wrong to joke bout stuff like that. (im almost17) my old friends used to joke bout that stuff and when they found out im emo they called me a freak.im not a freak im just -u know- different. my lifes F***IN messed up and some ppl ARENT makin it easier for me. the last year has been really hard for me. i lost the only person who really got me (my cousin18). we were like sister we told each other everythin.she died in a car accident (about a year ago). then (a couple months later) i had to move bc my dad got a job in ohio. a lot a ppl would stare at me bc in so pale (almost white) and i would always wear black. not to soon after we move we had to move again bc my grandma was dying and she needed someone to take care of her. a couple weeks later she died:( recently my fav. dog -baby- had to get put down:((( my lifes slowly fallin apart. my life is a LIVIN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!
