What should I do now?

I met this great guy in person. I don't do online personals. We have done the dinner and movie thing. He tells me he cares about me but doesn't want a serious relationship until he is friends first. we have been "friends" for about 6 months. hugs and kisses and movies and such but no more. then I was checking personal ads for a friend when I saw his pictures. he is all over the place. I fell in love with him and was going to talk to him about upgrading our "friendship" but now I don't know if I should.
