My brother is in the hospital after a drunk driver hit him and i have legal custody of him......?

I am 25 and married and pregnant but anyways i have legal custody of my brother who is 16 years old. And last week he was on his way home from work and a drunk driver plowed into him and he was in ICU for 5 days and they had to do multiple surgery's on him. Well he also has a 17 year old girlfriend his is 28 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. And well when he comes home he will be on bed rest for a minimum of 4 weeks. I have been thinking about allowing his girlfriend to stay because i think she would really help my brother out and everything. But my hubby disagrees and thinks it will only stress my brother out more which is the last thing in the world my brother needs. His girlfriend and him have a very very close relationship and special bond. Also when my brother comes home what can i do for him? How can i make him more comfortable? Advice? And if you are wondering why i have legal custody of him it is because our mother is a drug addict.
