Honda recon problems, under water?

Alright, let me start off by saying i am mechanically inclined. Now, i took my 2002 Honda Recon 250 ES is some really deep a** water. I had the entire back end of the bike submerged in water, then the bike shut off, I opened up the airbox and there was nowater in it at all, second i pulled the pull starter and the cylinder was not hydrolocked, i then proceeded to start the bike, it turned over after three piston rotations and ideled great and shifted gears fine. Now as i give the enigne more throttle it boggs out and shuts off. My question is, WHAT CAUSES THE ENGINE TO BOGG DOWN WHEN GIVING IT THORTTLE ALTHOUGH IT IDELS FINE? i want to say its something in the carb but idk, im also considering that some of the wires may be went, the computer was under water, tell me what you think
